The First Anderson Christmas
Elijah gripped his mug of hot chocolate, watching Richard and Skyler sit excitedly listening to Alan read the Christmas story from the bible.
This was their's first Christmas, well real Christmas.
A Christmas with a real tree and not a shrub, a Christmas with new presents wrapped in real wrapping paper and not newspaper.
Alan finished the story, and then the family started singing Silent Night.
Elijah just sat back and listened to the many voices swirling together in almost perfect harmony.
When the song was finished, they all shuffled into the kitchen.
And placed there now empty mugs in the sink.
"Now remember, no coming down the staircase tomorrow until you hear music, alright?"
The kids nodded Alan and Racheal stood in the kitchen's doorway and said good night to their kids as they left the kitchen and up to their own bedrooms.
Elijah got ready for bed.
He was way more excited for Christmas then he had let on and was already planning ways around his insomnia so Christmas could arrive faster when Oliver asked him a question from the other side of the room.
"Is this your first Christmas?"
"No."
Elijah drifted back into his thoughts for a moment and remembered all the Christmas he had spent with his own family.
Use to Elijah's habits of not elaborating Oliver just laid down in his own bed, and started to drift off into sleep.
Elijah climbed into bed and surprising quickly followed after Oliver into the dreamscape.
THE NEXT MORNING
Elijah was awoken by the sound of 'White Christmas' being played downstairs.
Elijah rolled over and checked the time on his nightstand.
7:25 he also noticed that Oliver's bed was empty, which probably meant that Christmas had already started, and 'White Christmas' wasn't the first song played.
He was interrupted by the door to the room being thrown open and Richard and Skyer entering, they climbed onto his bed as he sat up.
"Elijah! Elijah! IT'S CHRISTMAS!"
They almost yelled together.
"So, why are you up here?"
They smiled before racing out the door, Skyler stopped just short of the door and turned back to Elijah.
"Aren't you coming?"
"Yeah, just give me a moment."
Skyler nodded before rushing after her brother.
Elijah sighed Christmas was probably almost finished, all the presents opened, and all the candy is eaten, so he really didn't see the point of getting up just yet.
Plus Richard and Skyler would show him all their presents later.
So with that, Elijah laid back down and tried to fall asleep again.
Keyword trying, after a few minutes, Elijah realized he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep, so slowly, he got up and made his way downstairs and to the living room.
"Merry Christmas."
Alan greeted as he entered the living room, all the other kids were already sitting around the room and happily eating their candy, but all the presents were still intact under the tree.
"We wait to open the present until everyone is up."
Racheal explained as she handed him a packed red and white stocking, with to Elijah's surprise his name embroidered across the top.
Elijah took a seat next to Skyler and the fireplace.
Skyler was already surrounded by candy and small toys from her own stocking.
Elijah felt a bit guilty for keeping the others from their Christmas presents, he distracted himself by pulling the items out of his stocking.
It was mostly candy, but at the bottom of the stocking was the traditional orange, along with a few toys and items here and there.
Some of which was a Rubix cube, hand puzzels, a riddle book, and a small notebook.
He put most of the stuff back into the stocking, besides some of the candy that he slipped Skyler and Richard, who was sitting to them on the couch next to the fireplace.
"Alright, time for presents."
Alan said from next to the Christmas tree.
He pulled one presents out at a time, and passed it around the room until it got to its owner.
Elijah spent most of the time watching the others open their presents, rather than opening his own gifts.
Which unsurprisingly consisted of mostly books, with a few building sets, like legos or snap circuit
electric set, and other educational stuff.
But there was one present that stood out to him and would remain with him for the rest of his life, A model of the real SS Paladian, a starship of the space marines.
In an hour all the presents were open Alan stood up.
"Alright, kids, that's it, time to clean up."
They all climbed to their feet and started to sort through the used wrapping paper and throwing away the trash, and just generally making the living room look like a living room again.
"Come on kids, after were done cleaning up, we'll go to the grandparents' house."
The kids cheered and lunched to their feet.
With their help, the room was somewhat clean in no time.
"Alright, get ready to leave, then come help me in the kitchen."
Racheal ordered as she disappeared into the said kitchen.
Elijah followed the others into the front entryway and helped Skyler, and Sucy put on their coats, and tie their shoes before turning to his own.
As soon as his jacket was on, he headed back to the kitchen.
"Grab something protean for breakfast."
Elijah grabbed a slice of cheese and eat it as Racheal handed him plates and dishes full of food.
"I thought grandma was cooking Christmas dinner."
Oliver asked his mother with a smile.
"She is, but since I am bring seven hungry kids to her house, I figured I'd help a bit."
The kids and Alan helped carried out Racheal's food and then pilled into the van.
They had already placed their presents for the grandparents under their own Christmas tree last week, so they didn't need to worry about that.
They sang along with the radio as they drove to their grandparents' new yellow house in the city.
As soon as the van was parked in the driveway, Comrad and Mindy appeared from inside the house and rushed to meet their daughter and her family.
"Merry Christmas!"
Mindy greeted as she hugged and kissed every one of them.
"Merry Christmas, Grandma!"
They happily replied.
Mindy then rushed them into the house, all the while saying they would catch a cold if they stayed outside any longer.
The grandparents' tree was bigger and more beautiful than Anderson's and might have even more presents.
Comrad took his seat next to the tree, and after receiving his cup of coffee from his wife, he started to pace out the presents.
It took most of the day, but everyone was happy and relaxed.
Christmas supper passed happily and was a merry event, and it was nine at night when they loaded up again and set off for home.
Elijah happily sat in the back row and watched the darkness pass them, all the while silently thankful for the great Christmas.

Novas At School
CJ (Cadence Johnson)is a high school drop out, who always struggled her way through school, especially math.
Terrance graduated from school altogether and college at the age of 19, he breezed through school and often taught his teachers things instead of the other way around.
Trish also finished high school and went to college, in fact, to the same one Terrance did, they graduated at the same time with the same class.
Colton finished high school but never had any interest in college.
Cody breezes through his schoolwork, even if he hits a problem, there is always somebody who knows about the subject and can help him with it.
Neil gets average grades in every subject and class, he studies a lot but only because he takes school and his work very seriously.
Eagle has an eighth-grade leave of education, he doesn't care for school and believes he knows everything he needs to know, and even if that turns out not to be true, he believes he can quickly learn the subject.
Kennedy doesn't care for school at all, it never really challenged her, as a kid, she skipped many grades, but now she sits in classes and daydreams about the future.
Jay D has finished high school, and much like Colton never saw a use for college. Instead, he is focusing on starting his own business.
Carla struggles through every school subject, but she puts her all into the work until she passes, the same goes for medical school, she pusses through learning all the knowledge, but doing the real stuff comes to her as natural as breathing.
Sapphire dragged her feet through two years of art college, in high school, she just showed up for the tests and hanging out with her brother.

Time War 2
Mina stood in the crowed dark yellow hallway with her siblings, well some of them.
Another group of people passed them headed for the back of the line, which was so far back Mina couldn't see it anymore.
It also didn't help that the hallway was sloping down, so everyone naturally leaned closer together.
"How much longer?"
Mina leaned away from the group of people trying to get a view of the front of the line, but couldn't really see anything past the open room right before the dining room.
Where the two lines headed in opposites directions crashed together in a boundless sea of people.
"Can't really tell."
Mina answered her youngest sibling and only little brother Dennise.
He was usually a well-behaved eight-year-old, but he had also been standing in line for a good five hours.
And the line didn't stand still long enough to justify sitting down. The best Dennise could do was to lean against a wall or be carried by one of his brothers.
Mina turned back to the front of the line and with it, her longings to be in the dining room.
Not just for the food they where handing out, but also because in the enormous dining was four seven-foot tall windows that sometimes on stormy days like this one was, would have their blackout curtains tied back, and passers-by could actually see the outside city, or what was left it.
Mina wasn't old enough to remember a time before the war.
But both her parents and grandparents were, and had brought her and her sibling up with stories of a time before it.
Days where you could go outside, days when buildings had lights 24 hours, and grown-ups had jobs that had nothing to do with hurting other people.
The line moved a couple more steps forward, It wouldn't be long before they reached the open room.
Mina's oldest two brothers Silas and Marshel joined them with their grandfather.
"Looks like we arrived just in time."
Mina nodded at her grandfather before her older sister Hope looped her arm with his.
=========
A story goes here
=========
As Mina finished her story of the newborn child in a manger, her sisters started to sing Silent night a song their parents had taught them as kids.
The world that had fallen silent for the story now grew even quieter as even natural stopped to listen.
Before long, tears were forming in everyone's eyes.
As the Landfill family came to the end of Silent Night, they easily lunched into Oh Town Of Bethlehem.
And with the first verse a brave German soldier climbed out of his trench with a white flag in hand, ignoring all his friends and comrades yells to come back as he walked slowly through the land untouched by human feet for more years then he had been alive, he stooped and grabbed a stick before tying his white flag to it, and once he reached the center of the empty war-torn field he stabbed the stick/flag into the ground and waited to see what happened.
On the other side, a Japanese soldier climbed out of his trench and slowly made his way to the German soldier and his white flag, after him, many followed, to the point when the Landfill family finished again there wasn't a single man still in their trench.
At that moment, a general bust into the broadcasting room, the Landfill family all crowed together the older brothers in front of their sisters.
"You six!"
The general yelled before storming toward them
"Yes, sir....."
Randel asked shakily.
"Can you continue doing that?"
"Singing, sir?"
Hope asked from behind Randel and Buck.
"Yes, can you sing anything else?"
The kids nodded before the general nodded and crossed his arms, Then gestured for the kids to start again.
Which they did after a shacky start people started to recognize the next song was The Frist Noel, the few people who knew the song sung along with now turned all the way up radios.
While those around them traded Christmas gifts of chocolate, cigars, and alcohol.
All around the world, the war stopped never to start again because, for the first time in almost 100 years, the people of the planet earth had something to believe in; they were united underneath one song, one holiday, and most of all, one name Jesus Christ.

Dancing with The Royal Children
Enzo loves balls and parties, and never seems to run out of new dance partners, he enjoys the wild group dances and the slow waltzes for the couples, but his favorite dances are the ones with his family where they just kind of do their own thing.
Much like her older brother Amivanna loves to dance, and always seems to have a line waiting for their chance to dance with her, even with her father and brother's best efforts to get them to leave, she loves group dances and doesn't really care for the calm couple slow dances close to the end of the balls and parties.
Scott didn't learn dancing growing up so he has a much harder time of it then his siblings do, That being said he still loves to dance, but finds it hard to do when he steps on his partner's feet every other step.
Dominic gives one dance to each person, he doesn't like dancing but he loves the looks of pure happiness on his guests and family as they spin around the castle's dance floor, that and the complete crazed dance from his family near the end of the party.
Alaric keeps to walls and in big crowds where he'll be overlooked, but usually gets dragged onto the dance floor by one of his family members.

Kingsly Holiday
The Kingsly don't usually get together for the holidays.
It's hard to get all the timelines lined up, not to mention the normal problems like jobs, kids, and spouse's families.
But this year was different, Solomon wanted to see his family again, and was about to go to any length to make it happen.
His siblings knowing this, all decided to avoid the trouble and go along with it.
In only a couple days Solomon and his wife had prepared the house for all their guests.
Which would consists of Solomon and his wife Loanna, and of course their two kids Aladin and Ariel.
Then the twins Joel and Harper, who weren't married or had kids.
Then Arthur who was flying in from the south, he never got married mostly due to his work in the military.
Then the biggest group Lilyan, her husband Rob, and their three sons.
Janiece the second youngest, and once again more married to her job at the FBI than any actual human being.
And, of course, the youngest, JJ and her son Gary.
They would all arrive sometime in the week before Christmas and would leave at different times during the week after.
Whistler wasn't going to be able to come since she had other things to do, and couldn't leave since it was important Red Cloak Girl things.
But she promised to be there for New Years.
As for Lauren, she was too busy with finding the triplets to even think about taking the holidays off.
But Solomon wasn't going to let that ruin his holiday spirit.
He decorated the entire house inside and out.
And spent the previous months shopping for the perfect gifts for all his siblings.
So when December rolled around he was prepared for whatever may come.

Red Cloak Girl-Tumblr post 2
Whistler: Good responses for being stabbed with a knife?
Dianna: "Rude."
Elsa: "Not again."
Jean: "Are you going to want this back?"
Helen: I wish you could block people in real life.
Spencer: Restraining order.
Elsa: Murder.
Whistler: How could you two possibly get into this much trouble in one day?
Jean: It didn’t take us the whole day
Roza: We stopped for lunch.
Spencer: I want to relax but it’s just not realistic.
Meg: How would you feel if I messed with your personal life?
Helen: I’d hate it. That’s why I, cleverly, don’t have a personal life.
Jean: But after five shots of vodka, everything is easy.
Spencer: How long has it been since you slept?
Cadence: Bold of you to assume I sleep.
Gena: It’s quiet. Too quiet.
[Street sign hits the ground two inches from her]
Gena: Suddenly, it’s too loud. I preferred it when it was quiet
Elsa: Which one of you is in charge? I need to know who to ignore.
Roza: I’m the kind of person who likes to think things through.
Ashley: Since when? I once saw you eat a marshmallow that was still on fire.
Silver: Why are you helping me?
Cadence: Because my life is a mess right now and I compulsively take care of other people when I don’t know how to take care of myself.
Gena: If I get shot, do I own the bullet?
Gena: Can I keep it?
Janet: You’re working with my sworn enemy?
Tanner: I can’t keep track of all your sworn enemies.
Vicky: What’s wrong with you?
Kat: What’s wrong with me? What’s wrong with me is that you’re freakishly tall! I feel like a woodland creature.
Jenny: Sometimes I feel like a box.
Phil: Explain?
Jenny: I am fragile and I need to be handled with care.
Lana, from the bottom bunk: Do you think pigeons have feelings?
Iren, from the top bunk: go to sleep!!
