A Trip With Dragons

The sun started to dip under the mountains in the far distance. But it's decent and beautiful colors were ignored by the three friends tramping through the high bushes below.

"Grayson!!!" Annessa Lavigne called as loud as she could.

"General??!!!" Blaze yelled from her left, a few miles away.

"Dearie!!!!" Freya joined in from Annessa's right.

"He's not here!" Annessa yelled to the others.

Their other teammate and leader, usually wandered around the area surrounding their camp. Except last night he didn't return like he always did. Which of course led to them wandering through the chest tall bushes, looking for him.

Blaze appeared next to Annessa in a rush of wind. Freya on the other hand walked slowly over to them, trying to avoid being scratched by the bush's thorns.

"So what do we do now?" Freya asked when she finally reached them.

Annessa hopelessly glanced around. When her eyes landed on the mountain peak farthest from them.

The clouds that hung around it's top didn't look right. They didn't drift and roll like the other clouds, instead they swirled around the top, thickening with every turn.

"Guys?" The other two turned to Annessa.

"Do those clouds look normal to you?"

"I don't know, maybe. It's a new planet. I don't know how clouds are normally here." Blaze pointed out.

"That may be true, but I think Annessa might be onto something."

"And why do you think that?"

"I have a feeling."

Blaze glanced at Annessa, who simply shrugged.

"So the clouds are weird and give Freya feelings, but back to the point, where is General?"

"I think the clouds are the point." Annessa said.

"They are clouds!"

"But weird clouds that give Freya feelings."

"So? Flowers give Freya feelings!"

"That is true, but this is different."

"How?!"

"I can't explain it-"

"Duck!" Annessa pulled both of them to the ground.

"What was that about?!?" Blaze asked.

Annessa slapped a hand over his mouth, and pointed up at the sky.

Freya and Blaze looked up just in time for a huge shadow to pass over them.

The shadow was casted by an even larger being, covered in scales and was longer than three football fields, most of Which was from its neck and tail.

"Is that a dragon!" Freya whispered in awe.

"It certainly looks like it."

The dragon circled around the plane a few times, before swooping down and grabbing it in it's mouth.

It was a long worm with hundreds of legs, like a giant centipede.

The worm thing wrapped around the dragon's neck, and seemed to tighten its body to strangle the dragon.

The dragon responded by biting down on its head. And with a sickening crunch, that Annessa and her friends could hear miles away, the worm stopped moving.

The dragon, now with it's dead prey, lifted off of the ground and flew off towards the mountains and weird clouds.

"Please tell me we're not going to follow the dragon?" Blaze asked, already knowing the answer.

Without responding, Annessa stood up and started running towards the mountains and dragon.

"Come on, we can't let her go it alone." Freya pulled Blaze up, and followed after their younger teammate.

With Blaze's teleportation, and Annessa's own powers, they made it to the top within the night.

At the peak of the mountain was a huge cave that seemed to go down into the heart of the mountain ranges.

But the three adventures stood in the opening, wondering if they should proceed.

"It is freezing up here." Freya muttered absentmindedly.

She was right though, without the sun and the height of the mountain, caused the fog to freeze into a cotton candy like mist.

"We need to go in."

"Why?! Why did we even come up here?"

"Because Dearie is in there." Freya stated, more busy with getting warm then her teammates sudden attention.

"And how do you know that? And don't say it's a feeling!"

"It is technically a feeling, but closer to magic."

"How so?" Annessa asked.

"As a Erastís, those I have an emotional bond with, I can feel where they are within a square mile."

"You mean we have to go into the murder hole now?"

"Only if we want General back." Blaze said.

The three shared a look before wordlessly agreeing to enter the cave.

One to never miss out on dramatics, Annessa jumped headfirst into the drop off, she transformed into a bat and glided down, hidden in the shadows.

Freya grabbed Blaze's arm tightly as he lowered them down into the hole, on a platform of magic energy.

Only a foot down, they came to a cleared out level, with many below it.

The huge dragon they saw before, was on the bottom level sharing it's worm with other, bigger dragons.

"What are you guys doing here?"

All three of them turned to see General Grayson, calmly sitting next to a huge pile of gold, jewels, and gems, reading a book.

"We're looking for YOU!!!" Blaze shouted.

Annessa kicked him, hoping none of the dragons had heard him. Thankfully none of them had.

"Why?"

"Because we were worried about you!" Freya whispered yell. While sitting next to him and hitting him once in the shoulder.

"Oh."

"So imma take it you're not dinner?" Annessa asked, glancing down at the worm.

"No, they don't like to eat human-like beings."

"And you're not a prisoner." Blaze said it instead of asked.

"I think I'm their pet more than anything."

"So why did you stay!?"

"I saw no reason to leave."

The three others sighed deeply.

Freya grabbed the book Grayson had been reading, and tossed it into the pile of treasure. While Annessa pulled Grayson to his feet and over to Blaze.

"You can't get rid of us, by joining a bunch of dragons."

"I can't escape you people, no matter who I join." Grayson pointed out.

Blaze ignored him, and teleported them all out of the cave.

But he also LOVES watching his mother practice her fighting skill. (This worries both of his parents a lot)

Finley also loves nature, butterflies, bunnies, cats, and stuff like that, but also the SHADOW DOGS that guard the castle, these DOGS hate everyone and only got along with Calvin, October, and April, and well Finley now.

Finley's village was on the border of the Darkling and Whites colonies, which was hit with a very bad illness which how Finley lost his parents and why he now lives with Erica and Linus.

Finley loves the royal gardens and because of this, he is really close to Amivanna and Celtic.

Celtic Dominic and Wolf all got together and tried to figure out how they were really related to Finley, they couldn't figure it out.

A Jean Story

"I'm trying to have a serious conversation with you!"

"And I'm trying to subtly avoid it!"

Michael almost sighed but reframed. It would not help anything if Jean got it in her head that this was bothering him.

She would continue doing it for no other reason, but it bothered him.

"Can we save this until we are back home?"

Sara asked, standing between the two, holding all of hers and Jean's shopping bags.

They had gone out shopping, Jean searching for anything that didn't involve Michael, and Sara in search of a new dress.

And judging by the scene now unfolding, Sara was going to be the only one who succeeded, like usual.

"Just give me one good reason."

"Uh, I don't &*%*#^$% want to go?!"

Michael's frown deepened if that was even possible.

"She's your mother."

"No. she's the lady who &*^%&& dead before doing anything, she never did any &**%% thing for me!"

"She died! what do you want from her?"

"Nothing! absolutely nothing!"

Jean stormed off or tried to, but Michael was not done yet.

"Fine, but I want you to come with me."

"And why the ^&%% do I care what you want?"

"I'm asking as your brother."

"And again, I ask, why do I ^*&%%& care?!"

Michael did sigh this time, still not letting go of Jean's arm.

"Please, just this once, please come with me."

Jean stared at him and silently fought herself for a few minutes before jerking her arm out of her brother's grip.

"No., not today, not tomorrow, not next year. never."

And this time she did storm off, leaving Michael and Sara alone in the crowded mall.

Years later.

Jean stood by herself in the dark cemetery.

Even the wind had fallen silent a long time ago, and the moon was hidden behind storm clouds, which explained why she was alone.

She set the small bouquet of daffodils on the grave.

In loving memory of Mary. H. McCall.

Born 2208 - died 2232.

Loving mother, sister, wife, and friend.

"Just this once, mom.....I'm not coming back....."

Jean swallowed back her tears and stood there for a few more minutes before walking away and back up the hill to her parked car.

Ignoring the grave next to her mother's completely.

In loving memory of Michael. P. K. McCall.

Born 2232 - Died 1986.

Loving Brother, Son, and Friend,

You will be missed.

"You know I care about you, right?"

Michael paused in surprise. Of all the things he expected his sister to say at this moment, it was not this. It would never be this. She spent most of the time cussing and complaining about him.

"I mean it, I do care about you and your stupid opinions and your nagging voice that makes me want to jump into a lake.......but I do care."

Michael smiled.

"Yeah, even though you are the worst at showing it."

"Uh, well &*^$ you so......."

Michael refused to laugh as his sister flipped him off, walking backward into the house.

"I love you two!"

He called after her, meaning every word.

Jean pulled on her shoes and turned back to stare at the empty living room and bar.

Everything had been cleared out.

Daniel had gone to stay with his sister for the time but would show back up soon. Jean had no doubt.

Sara, likewise, had gone back to her own home and family.

Austin and Kira had run off like the young fools in love they were.

She clenched her hand around the keys and sucked in a deep breath pushing back the tears that wanted to spill out over her face.

This was it, no more movie night or Christmas parties, no more lazy Saturday mornings, it was all gone and would be lost to time in only a few years.

She flipped the last light off and listened to the mansion shift and fade back to the run-down mansion it had been 30 years ago when she first arrived.

"Ready?"

Michael, her twin brother, her anchor, her only family left, asked.

"No. not at all, it's all gone, the cloak the mansion our friends....even the kids....."

Michael pulled her into a hug.

"I know, but we've been through worse, and I'd bet it only gets better from here."

Jean nodded as best she could. Her face was pressed hard against Michael's shoulder.

"Let go, this isn't our house anymore, and I'd hate to call Sara to tell her we both got arrested."

"True that."

They pulled apart, and Michael headed back to their parked car. Jean turned back to the now empty and dark mansion and whispered one last goodbye before locking the door and headed off to the next better, brighter chapter of her life.

The Rebel crew Head Cannons

Eagle calls Neil sidekick.

Eagle, Penny, and Jay D get along really well, despite their hometowns hating each other.

But Eagle and Nell don't, they're basically the Ice Hawk and Shadow Knight of the Rebel crew.

Kennedy ends up paying for almost everything, but she honestly doesn't mind, despite what she says.

No one has ever seen Eagle sleep.

Neil sometimes skips superhero duties to finish homework.

Cody knows 5 languages, Neil only speaks English, Kennedy speaks 2 languages, Jay D also speaks 2 languages, and Eagle speaks 7 languages.

For the first couple of months of being superheroes everyone just messes around, until the day Cody gets kidnapped, the team thought for sure that they would never see him again.

Eagle has the information, Jay D has the skills, Kennedy has the contacts and the money, Neil knows the know-how, and Cody has the power to bring them all together.

Kennedy has focus problems sometimes she can't focus on anything and other times she can't pull her focus away.

Barbra is the master of sneaking, she somehow makes sure everyone has some kind of food on them at all times, even when out being superheroes.

Cody is deathly afraid of insects most because his siblings are too, despite this he knows way too much about them for anyone's comfort.

Jay D likes animals and hangs out with Cherry and her pets all the time.

Neil has a second part-time job being a DJ at parties all over PinesWood.

The team has taken to calling Kennedy Empires.

Jay D switches between Trish and Colton on where he lives, depending on which week it is.

Eagle strongly dislikes scary stuff and Halloween.

For Christmas, the team does secret Santa.

Christmas Eve is friend Christmas at the Johnsons, everyone comes over and spends the day celebrating.

The team is shocked when they find out Eagle "Sneaks" into the Osborn house to "Steal" food.

The Rebel Crew hardly ever uses weapons, Cody uses any weapon, Neil uses his blaster bracelets, Kennedy uses a battle hammer, Eagle throwing knives, and Jay D uses a handgun.

Eagle might be from PinesWood, he doesn't remember anything before turning 5, by which time the lady in red was gone and he was living in PinesWood.

Eagle only remembers that the lady in red was in her late 20s, wore an ankle-long red dress, was barefoot or wore brown old high heels, and would sing old fashion church hymns in different languages.

The Rebel Crew Is Lost In A Crowd

Eagle: PinesWood is such a boring town(Also works for Cadence)

Jay D: Does anyone know how to hotwire a car? (Also brings the cops)

Neil: My favorite Taylor Swift song is blue swede shoes(Other people will tell you this is wrong)

Kennedy: I need a friend(Other people will volunteer)

Cody: Superman could beat the Avengers(Other Johnson's will answer as well)

The Rebel Crew Is Kidnapped,

Cody: Is returned because he never stops talking

Eagle: Returns 5 minutes later because he escaped

Jay D: Escapes but waits around for the cops

Neil: Can't escape by himself, so he waits for a NOVA or cop

Kennedy: Pays the kidnappers to return her

Cody and Jay D can cook, Eagle and Neil can prepare microwave food, and Kennedy can catch the kitchen on fire by stepping into the kitchen

Rebel Crew Height,

Cody: 6 "4

Eagle: 5 "5

Jay D: 6 "0

Neil: 6 "2

Kennedy: 5 "11

Kennedy has always wanted to be a Sara.

Eagles nickname is now Kitty Cat-Stay cat-Cat

Eva basically only talks to Cody in Russian

Eagle is short but is very buff.

Jay D wears bagging clothes and tends to look like a gangster

Emergency Shopping Trip

Cadence was brought back to earth by a hand waving in her face, she turned, to see her close friend Colton standing in front of her.

"Yes?"

Cadence asked, her friends were supposed to be calming down and getting ready for bed, but judging by the sounds coming from the kitchen it wasn't working.

"Were out of chips AND instant noodles."

Colton said this as if it was the end of the world or something just as important.

"I'll pick some more up tomorrow."

Cadence turned back to the spot on the wall, where she had zoned out, just minutes before.

"No, we're going now."

Colton grabbed Cadence's hand and pulled her up.

Colton led her into the kitchen, where the other two members of team R.I.S.K was making a mess and trying to outdo the other in an eating contest, or that was what it looked like to Cadence.

"Yo ankle biters were going shopping!"

Colton yelled as he grabbed the keys to his car, and then raced out of the kitchen towards the front door.

Cadence froze and listened for any signs of her family waking up from her friend's yell, but the house stayed silent.

Well Her two friends also froze but only for a second before they both made a quick dash towards the front door, probably to get shotgun before the other.

Cadence sighed but followed after her friends, as she expected Terrance had won and then decided to lock the doors, Trish was yelling at him, well Colton was trying to open the driver's door, apparently, he hadn't noticed it locking.

cadence glanced at her watch and noticed for the first time that it was one in the morning, no wonder her friends were acting so strange, wait no these were her friends, they always acted like this.

That being said she walked over to Colton and took the keys.

"You are way too sleep-deprived to be driving, into the back with you."

Cadence then turned to Terrance and simply gestured for him to unlock the doors, it took him a moment, but eventually, he did as he was told and unlocked the door.

Trish and Colton climbed into the back, Colton was a lot happier than Trish.

"Ok, buckle up."

Cadence reminded her friends, as she turned on the engine.

She glanced up and noticed Trish and Colton had done as ordered but, once again Terrance hadn't.

"That goes for you too."

Terrance raised an eyebrow in a questioning manner.

"Because it's the law, and if Logon pulls us over I don't want to explain to him why you don't have a seat belt on."

This seemed to convince Terrance as he buckled up.

Cadence turned back to the driveway in front of her and asked herself why she kept ending up in situations like this.

But she decided to just get it over with and drove up onto the road.

It didn't take long for them to reach the store, and even before Cadence had turned off the engine her friends were climbing out of the car.

"What are we doing here?"

Trish finally asked.

"You and shorty ate all my chips and instant noodles."

Terrance shot Colton a glare, but Colton either didn't notice or didn't care.

"I'm sorry, Your noodles?"

Cadence asked.

"Yes, I helped shop for them, therefore they are mine."

Cadence decided not to argue with him and instead led her friends into the store.

Cadence walked past the baskets but stopped once noticed her friends hadn't.

"What are you doing? we don't need a basket."

"Sure we do."

Cadence rolled her eyes but didn't see any point in arguing with all of them, so she grabbed one of the big baskets and started off again.

But was stopped once again, this time by Trish.

"Can I ride?"

"No."

"Please."

"No."

"Come on Cj let her ride."

Colton joined in.

"And if she gets hurts?"

"Then you're a bad driver."

Cadence wasn't happy with this answer but had already lost, judging by the fact that Trish had taken a seat in the basket already.

"Fine but keep your limbs inside the basket at all times."

Trish nodded happily like a kid before cadence started pushing the basket towards the chip ally.

All in all, it took them half an hour to finished shopping, everyone kept remembering something they needed and would disappear for a minute or two, before showing up and tossing something into the basket.

Trish was almost buried under all the stuff, but to be fair her energy drinks were taking up the most space.

Colton's instant noodles were next.

Cadence pushed the cart into one of the checkout lines and started unloading.

The cashier gave them a strange look but started to scan the items.

"Have we met?"

She asked after only a few minutes, the group froze besides Cadence who had gotten way too use to this question.

"Probably not."

She nodded and went back to scanning the many items.

"So how are you enjoying town so far?"

Cadence asked the cashier looked at her in surprise.

"How did you know I was new in town?"

"Lucky guess."

The cashier still confused scanned the last item.

"Your total comes to 75.35."

Trish reached behind her and handed her credit card to the cashier.

"do you want help out?"

"No, we got it."

Colton said as he and Terrance grabbed most of the bags, Trish sadly climbed out of the cart and helped Cadence grab the last.

"Thanks for shopping at Best Store."

The four of them made their way back to the car, thankfully Trish and Terrance were too tired to fight over who got to sit shotgun, so Trish got the front seat this time.

With the groceries in the back and everyone buckled up, Cadence started the car and headed back home.

It was 2:30 when they got back to the house.

Everyone dropped the gabs onto the floor of the kitchen before collapsing in the living room.

Colton was asleep in minutes, and the others followed suit.

Cadence, on the other hand, headed upstairs, happy she had her own bed and didn't have to sleep on a couch or the floor.

Movie Night For The Queen

Celtic and Colins made their way down the quiet halls of the desert house.

Every so often they would stop and duck into a room, but almost always come right back out shaking their heads.

Finally, they came to the main office (Throne room).

They didn't bother to knock, instead, they almost knocked the door down.

"ANNA!"

Celtic yelled, making the queen jump and whip around, so fast she might have whiplash.

"What?!"

Queen Anna asked as she got up from her desk, to walk over to them.

"In the living room!"

Collins yelled before he and Celtic turned and raced down the hallway, to the living room.

Anna reluctantly followed behind.

Once there Anna scanned the room, the TV was playing an annoying kid song over and over again, Collins and Celtic already sat in a blanket fort.

"What is going on?"

Anna asked her two siblings. Celtic was the one to answer.

"Your working too hard."

"You need to take a break."

"And we need to watch this moving."

"To see if it's as good as Ashley say it is."

Collins and Celtic often talked like that, it used to annoy Anna but after a while, she had grown used to it.

"Sorry can't ask someone else."

Collins turned to her with puppy dog eyes, while Celtic stood up and forcefully dragged her over to the blanket fort.

"No, your little siblings need you more."

Celtic said it in such a way that Anna couldn't help but believe it.

"Fine, what movie is this?"

Collins answered by handing her the DVD case, as Celtic hit play.

"Moana?"

"Yeah, it's about this princess on an island."

Celtic explained.

They stopped talking after that, and just watched the movie.

By the time it ended all three of them were asleep.

Ashley smiled from the doorway.

"Told you it was a good movie."

R.C.G House Rules

Jenny, Just because you can, does not mean you should defies gravity every chance you get.

You are definitely not allowed to order pizza with anything chocolate on it again. Ugh.

"Hey, guys, if this explodes, will you be mad?" is not a good way to wake up in the morning. Stop doing it to us.

We all got things to do that does not mean you get to tell us to stop talking because your busy in the next room.

Jean, Stop telling us stories from your childhood! we get it your childhood was terrible, just stop making us depressed.

Singing at 3 am is not allowed. Singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" at 3 am at the top of your lungs is definitely not allowed. Actually, singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" ever is not allowed.

No matter how much you want to, asking to go home early is not an option. If I have to suffer, so do you!

Do not respond to Whistler's requests by clicking your heels together and saying "Yes, My Colonel!"

Helen, Your books are not people, so stop claiming they are sitting at the table, and therefore we can't sit there.

It's true Jenny has no idea what the word "ignoramus" means, and yes, you were mad when you said it, but can you please explain it to her so she stops trying to prove she isn't ignoring you?

Elsa, Your weapons are not silverware, please stop using as such.

You are not Peter Pan, Robin Hood, or Link. Yes, you like green. No, it doesn't count.

Beating Dianna in morning practice is a reason to celebrate loudly and proudly; beating somebody random over the internet playing Backgammon at dawn is not.

Di-Lance is 17 he can handle himself. (Please don't kill me)

Video games are only for advanced minds. You can't beat Mario Kart by smashing the buttons. Cut it out.

Lana, you may be in love with your voice, but we aren't please stop talking at 2 IN THE MORNING.

Kat, please stop taking naps in the hallways, we need to walk through there sometimes.

Roza, If the thought of something makes you giggle for more than 15 seconds, it's definitely not allowed.

The perimeter alarm is for intruders, not so you can catch yourself on video doing something on your skateboard.

The. Bike. Is. Off. Limits. To. You. Forever.

Do not empty Di-Anna's punching bag and refill it with cooked oatmeal. Ever. (And WHERE did you get all that cooked oatmeal anyway?

Spencer take a night off and sleep, please.

Coffee is not a food group. No, really, it's not.

"Leave us a note when you're going out" does not mean the note can say whatever you want. "Gone to Jamaica, back by spring," is not a valid note.

Gena No one wants to hear about your murder cases.

You are prohibited from waving anything at other people and saying, "Try this – see if it hurts."

Meg WHATEVER is not a real answer, exscpeslly when I ask you what the weather is today.

Spencer is addicted to coffee, so if you switch her regular to decaf again, don't come crying to us when the Xbox goes missing.

There is no save point in the refrigerator. Stop wandering into the kitchen after 3 days of gaming and making a mess by looking for it.

Switching from English to technobabble just to avoid a conversation is prohibited.

Reprogramming Janet's Cell may be necessary on occasion, but please stop changing her ring-tone – she has no idea which phone is her anymore.

Appliances are not gadgets – do not dismember anything we actually require to cook without permission.

Janet living in the same house means you have to talk to someone, and TXT doesn't count.

Speaking of dishes, do not put your sai in the dishwasher – it upsets Spencer.

Ashley, You're playing a dangerous game by taking Jenny's candy, please stop before someone gets hurts.

Rubbing another woman's head for luck in battle is in bad taste.

Cadence, SilverKnight might be a hero, but she isn't immune to chores. The next time "Cadence" is unavailable for dishes but SK is around, SilverKnight gets to join the roster along with you.

At no point in time is "Huh?" an acceptable answer to "When was the last time you slept?"

Silver I would like to ask that you don't track mud into the house.

Similarly, using the most boring means to tell a story does not exempt you from explaining why you came back from the store with a shopping cart full of spoons.

Viktorious, Just because we let you drive does not mean you are King of the Road, and the next time I have to listen to "Born to be Wild" on the way to an emergency, you're going to be King of the Walk Home.
